Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to operate residential and recycling collection routes. You will load waste and recyclables, operate truck and hydraulic systems, and perform daily inspections.

You will document routes and report any mechanical issues to supervision, while maintaining safety standards and route quality. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL, and at least 1 year of driving experience or a CDL school certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Commercial Driver's License required.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate a residential/recycling truck and related equipment on assigned route.
• Load waste/recyclables into the truck and operate the compactor.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain route quality and follow safety standards at all times.
• Assist with route optimization and safety compliance.
