Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Residential Automated Driver to service trash and recycling routes with automated trucks. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service while safely operating equipment across assigned routes.

Qualifications include a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card, with preference for 1–2 years of CDL driving experience. The role may require evenings and weekends with potential overtime and travel between offices.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL and a DOT Medical Card.
• 1-2 years CDL driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read maps and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated trucks safely to collect trash/recycling for customers.
• Pull/push containers from enclosures or buildings as needed.
• Replace receptacles at curb or designated areas.
• Maintain route and driver logs; conduct pre/post trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and ensure service quality.
• Load bulk items manually when required and maintain truck cleanliness.
