Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Utility Driver to service customers and haul waste or recycling materials. The role requires operating various trucks, routes, and ensuring safety and compliance while delivering excellent service.

Applicants should have a valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and 1–2 years of CDL experience; English proficiency and map-reading skills are essential. The job may require nights, weekends, and overtime depending on route needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years CDL truck driving experience.
• Waste industry experience a plus.
• Must pass pre-employment testing and background checks.
• Must read and understand maps and route plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers safely and compliantly.
• Operate various types of trucks and complete routes.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day.
• Maintain route and driver logs; conduct pre/post trip inspections.
