Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Rear Load Truck Driver to service residential and commercial routes in Ohio. You will operate trucks and trailers, unload and haul waste to disposal sites, and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle while ensuring safety and compliance.

Preferred candidates have 1–2 years of CDL driving experience and a valid Class B CDL with DOT Medical Card, and are ready for flexible hours, nights, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• Excellent truck driving and maneuvering skills.
• Ability to drive while pulling a trailer.
• Must read and speak English well enough for safety training and directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and efficiently.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck 300–600 times per day on routes.
• Move containers from enclosures or buildings as needed.
• Replace receptacles neatly at curb or designated area.
• Maintain route and driver logs; perform pre/post trip inspections.
