Job summary

CHS Devils Lake is seeking a hands-on Operations Specialist/Truck Driver in Edmore, ND. You will support daily operations, operate forklifts and skid steers, assist with seed and chemical tasks, and help with yard maintenance through the seasons.

No CDL? CHS will provide support and training to help you obtain your CDL, making this a great entry point to grow in agribusiness while contributing to safe, efficient supply chains.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations or Trucking Operations
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
• Valid Class A CDL preferred
• Agriculture background preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties
