Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a CDL Program Director to lead the AT-CDL program with a focus on curriculum development and faculty oversight. You will hire and supervise Driver Trainers, engage in student advising, and monitor program performance across campuses.

The role requires strong leadership, curriculum expertise, and compliance with accreditation standards, with travel across campuses as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
CDL Class A License with at least 3 years driving experience.
5 years of industry experience in the field of instruction.
2 years of management or supervisory experience.
Knowledge of faculty development, delivery methods and reporting.
Ability to develop collaborative relationships and communication with students, staff and employers.
Knowledge of FMCSA and state standards.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the CDL Program and oversee curriculum development, revision and implementation.
Train and evaluate Driver Trainers; hire, orient, develop and recognize staff.
Advise and support students, including orientation, tutoring referrals and retention initiatives.
Monitor student progress and contact students with barriers to success.
Lead regular faculty meetings and provide feedback on curriculum and program performance.
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and accreditation standards.
