Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a CDL Program Director to provide leadership for the CDL program, guide curriculum development, and oversee faculty and student support services. The role requires expertise in driver training, curriculum implementation, and program-wide improvement initiatives.

The Director will hire and orient Driver Trainers, monitor student progress, and engage with faculty to ensure high standards and accreditation compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A license with at least 3 years driving experience.
• 5 years of industry experience in instruction.
• 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of faculty development and reporting requirements.
• Excellent presentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the CDL program and contribute to curriculum development and implementation.
• Train and support Driver Trainers and orient new staff.
• Advise students and coordinate academic advising and tutoring as needed.
• Monitor student progress, attendance, and at-risk students; provide outreach and support.
• Lead regular faculty meetings and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with Home Office and other departments to improve program outcomes.
