Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a skilled Mixer Operator to deliver ready mix concrete to commercial and residential sites. You’ll drive a concrete mixer truck (Class A or B CDL), load and inspect concrete, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries with a focus on safety and customer service.

Our drivers are home daily with local routes, overtime after 8 hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active CDL with Class A or B and current DOT Medical Card.
• Proven safe driving record and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready mix to commercial and residential sites.
• Load, mix, and inspect concrete to meeting precise specifications and quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every job site, representing SRM with professionalism and a service-first attitude.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and the public.
• Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records using company systems.
• Coordinate with dispatch and plant teams for efficient scheduling and routing.
• Assist with general plant or yard duties as needed.
