Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery trucks (CDL-required) to transport lumber and building materials to customer locations in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure that all deliveries are properly loaded, secured, and unloaded, following all safety guidelines and ensuring product quality.
• Assist customers with loading materials, providing guidance on product selection, and addressing any questions or concerns during deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lumberyard by performing regular yard upkeep, including sweeping, organizing materials, and disposing of waste.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on delivery vehicles and yard equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Assist in managing inventory, ensuring products are well-organized, and promptly reporting any stock issues or discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while working in the yard and while driving, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.
• Assist with unloading incoming shipments of lumber and building materials, ensuring proper storage and handling.
• Responsible for track renovation break and close on specified days of the week.
