Job summary

Veev Group, based in Hayward, CA, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to deliver modular walls and ceilings to job sites, ensuring on-time product delivery to support completion schedules.

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical certificate, and a clean driving record. The role offers hourly pay and benefits with opportunities to optimize routes and inventory in collaboration with Production Control.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Class A commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Acceptable driving record meeting company and insurance requirements.
• Experience with flatbed transportation, load securement, and permitted loads.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service, ELD requirements, and inspections.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain company-required certification.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use mobile devices and electronic systems for delivery documentation, scheduling, inventory, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles to deliver modular walls and ceilings to designated job sites.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, shipment status, route planning, and jobsite requirements with internal teams.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure loads are properly secured before transport.
• Verify shipment contents, documentation, and visible product condition prior to departure and delivery.
• Communicate and escalate delays, product damage, equipment concerns, site-access issues, or other risks that may impact delivery.
• Support trailer, VTC, and container staging, yard movements, returns, and demobilization activities.
• Assist with logistics coordination, inventory tracking, shipment records, vendor communication, and warehouse support as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve route efficiency, consolidate loads, reduce unnecessary trips, and improve transportation utilization.
• Maintain compliance with company safety requirements, DOT/FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service, ELD requirements, and applicable transportation laws.
