Job summary

Wurth Wood Group is seeking a Transportation Specialist at our Richmond, VA branch. You will drive a CMV to deliver product, maintain DOT compliance, and provide top-tier customer service while collaborating with warehouse, sales, and operations teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Class A or B CDL, a valid medical card, and forklift certification, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and meet safety standards. Growth opportunities exist within the company.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean and valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B.
• Maintain a Valid Medical Card.
• Maintain forklift certification.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Drive a CMV to deliver product within the local route.
• Operate a CMV in various driving conditions and tight spaces.
• Prepare and maintain transportation documentation for DOT compliance.
• Coordinate with customers, service providers, and internal team for efficient deliveries.
• Secure proof of delivery using the EPOD device.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with Operations and sales teams.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality during all transport duties.
