Job summary

Veev is seeking a Logistics Coordinator with a Class A CDL to ensure timely delivery of modular walls and ceilings to construction sites in Hayward, CA. The role works with Production Control to maintain delivery schedules and supports logistics across the department.

You will coordinate routes, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. This on-site position requires flexibility, strong organization, and proficient use of mobile delivery systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Class A driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Clean driving record meeting insurance requirements.
• Experience with flatbed loads and load securement.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service.
• Logistics coordination, dispatch, and inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to use mobile devices and electronic systems for delivery documentation, scheduling, inventory, and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles safely and transport modular materials to designated job sites.
• Deliver materials to job sites and maintain delivery schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and secure loads.
• Verify shipment contents and documentation prior to departure and delivery.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with internal teams and customers.
• Document delivery records with signatures, photos, and electronic confirmations.
• Escalate delays, damage, or risks affecting delivery.
• Support staging, yard movements, and warehouse tasks as needed.
• Identify route efficiency improvements and consolidate loads.
• Maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety requirements.
