Job summary

PODS is seeking a driver to deliver and pickup containers from customer locations, ensuring incident-free service and strong customer rapport. You will operate a commercial truck with a lift, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and handle paperwork with customers.

Responsibilities include using a handheld device for verification, operating a forklift/overhead crane, and assisting with storage-center tasks as needed. A valid CDL-B and DOT medical certificate are required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class B with no air brake restriction.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and PODS qualifications.
• DOT medical certificate or ability to obtain 1-year certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pickup containers at customer sites.
• Operate a commercial truck with lift mechanism safely.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with customers.
• Communicate with supervisor on questions or issues.
• Provide back-up support for storage center functions.
