C.R. Jackson, Inc. in Woodford, SC is seeking an experienced Liquid AC Tanker Operator to support our asphalt operations.

You will transport liquid asphalt cement, perform pre/post inspections, and adhere to DOT regulations while maintaining a clean, well‑maintained truck. When liquid AC loads are not available, you may be cross-trained to haul materials with a dump truck or end‑dump tractor‑trailer, with nights and weekends required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Valid TWIC card required.
• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Must operate a manual transmission; no automatic transmission restriction.
• Willingness to cross‑train on dump truck/end‑dump operations.
• Occasional night/weekend work may be required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a liquid AC tanker to transport liquid asphalt cement.
• Load and unload liquid AC per procedures.
• Complete required pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety rules.
• Communicate with dispatch, plant personnel, and crews.
• Maintain a clean, well‑kept truck and report maintenance needs.
• Complete paperwork and load documentation accurately.
• Operate a dump truck or end‑dump tractor‑trailer when AC loads are unavailable.
• Adhere to company policies and safety requirements.
