Job summary

C.R. Jackson is seeking a dedicated Distributor Driver to safely operate and maintain our asphalt distributor truck. You’ll apply asphalt materials to road surfaces and support paving crews, contributing to efficient, quality projects on-site.

Ideal candidates have a CDL with tanker and Hazmat endorsements, at least 1 year of driving experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. A team-focused, safety-conscious mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• CDL with tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• 1+ year of CDL driving experience (construction or paving preferred).
• Working knowledge of asphalt distributor systems and controls a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the asphalt distributor truck to apply materials on road projects.
• Set up and control spray bars, pumps, and valves for even distribution.
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily for safe operation.
• Assist with plant or paving crew duties as needed.
• Keep accurate delivery and work logs.
• Communicate clearly with paving crew and supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work and teamwork.

What We’re Looking For:

• Willing to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
