Job summary

C.R. Jackson, Inc. in Jefferson, SC is seeking a Liquid AC Tanker Operator to safely transport liquid asphalt cement to our plants and job sites.

The role requires operating a Liquid AC Tanker truck and cross-training to haul Dump Truck or End-Dump loads when liquid AC is not available. The ideal candidate is committed to safety, quality workmanship, and reliable teamwork on our construction crew. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Valid driver's license required; TWIC card required.
• Minimum 3+ years of CDL driving experience.
• No automatic transmission restriction; must be able to drive manual.
• Willingness to cross-train to haul Dump Truck and/or End Dump Tractor-Trailer when needed.
• Occasional nights and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a liquid AC tanker to transport materials.
• Load and unload liquid AC following all safety procedures.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
• Communicate with dispatch, plant personnel, and job-site crews.
• Keep the truck clean and report maintenance issues.
• Complete required paperwork and load documentation.
• Haul dump truck or end-dump loads when liquid AC loads are not available.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
