Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Certified CDL Hostler / Yard Driver. Location: Logan Township, NJ. Pay: $27.23 per hour. Shift: Thu–Sat, 3:00 PM–3:30 AM; hours may change. Duties include safely maneuvering trailers to/from the dock and coordinating with the yard team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-year driving experience with trailers
• Class A CDL
• Must pass pre-employment screenings and background checks
• Must be at least 18 years old, clean driving record, TSA screening
• Basic English proficiency for safety and instructions

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment per Safety Program
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT standards
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor
• Switch trailers as needed during daily sort; hook up sets for line hauls
• Clearly communicate trailer moves with operations management
