Colorado Department of Transportation in Durango, CO is seeking a Highway Maintenance Specialist for Special Crews. The role focuses on outdoor road maintenance, snow plowing, and heavy equipment operation to keep roadways safe.

You will work with a team, respond to weather emergencies, and help install signs and guardrails. Minimum qualifications include a valid CDL Class A/B, two years of physical labor or equipment operation, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifikationen

• Must have at least two (2) years of physical labor and/or heavy equipment operation experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B with no restriction on air brakes.
• Willing to respond to emergencies outside regular work hours and work overtime including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and at elevations up to 12,000 feet.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and related checks.
