Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a CDL Guardrail & Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance tasks, install guardrails, and support emergencies under close supervision. A Class A or B CDL is required, with physical endurance and willingness to train in roadway maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting plans and schematics.
• Installing and setting up Highway Guardrail layouts.
• Handling and placing materials for guardrail installation.
• Loading and unloading materials on flat-bed trucks or trailers, digging holes, and using power tools.
• Operating the Post Pounder/Driver Truck.
• Operating equipment used for Highway Maintenance.
• Using hand tools like shovels, rakes, and brooms.
• Using power tools like chainsaws and weed eaters.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting moderately heavy objects.
