Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician/Guardrail Installer to perform highway maintenance tasks and guardrail installation under supervision. The role involves interpreting plans, loading materials, and operating hand and power tools in various weather conditions.

Ideal candidates will have a Class A/B CDL, Virginia driver’s license with 3+ years of clean driving, and a construction background.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL Class A or B and Virginia driver’s license with 3+ years of clean driving history.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Construction background/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and schematics for guardrail layouts.
• Install and set up highway guardrail systems and materials.
• Load/unload materials, dig holes, and operate power tools.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine roadway maintenance.
• Work in varied weather and shift to night hours as required.
