Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance is seeking a CDL Guardrail & Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance and guardrail installation under close supervision. A Virginia driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving is required, and a Class A or B CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, setting up guardrail layouts, loading materials, operating the Post Pounder/Driver Truck, and performing drainage and roadway repairs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Virginia driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Class A or B CDL is required or preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and schematics.
• Install and set up Highway Guardrail layouts.
• Load and unload materials; dig holes; use power tools.
• Operate Post Pounder/Driver Truck and highway maintenance equipment.
• Perform routine roadway maintenance and repairs.
• Commit to safety guidelines and thorough housekeeping.
