DCS Asset Maintenance in Virginia is seeking a CDL Guardrail & Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance and guardrail tasks under supervision. Training is provided to learn routine maintenance while following all regulations and safety guidelines.

The role involves repairing guardrails, drainage, signs, and related structures, with responsibilities including operating trucks and power tools. Night shift is required, and the company offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL license (Class A or B) required as stated.
• Virginia driver's license with 3 years clean driving.
• Must be able to perform heavy manual labor.
• Must be able to work night shift 7 PM–5 AM.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting plans and schematics.
• Installing and setting up Highway Guardrail layouts.
• Handling and placing materials for guardrail installation.
• Loading and unloading materials, digging holes, and using power tools.
• Operating the Post Pounder/Driver Truck and equipment for highway maintenance.
• Utilizing hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and brooms and power tools.
• Working in various weather conditions and lifting moderately heavy objects.
• Maintaining safety and adapt to schedules and workloads.
