Job summary

Western States Equipment Company is hiring a delivery driver in Montana to safely operate Class 8 trucks, load and unload equipment, and ensure on-time deliveries. You will follow DOT rules, maintain logs, and handle equipment from brands such as CAT, Genie, and JLG.

Strong English communication and a high school diploma (or GED) are required; CDL-A with clean record is essential. Experience with light construction equipment is preferred, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A - CDL driver’s license with excellent driving record and current DOT physical card required.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience with over the road tractor & trailer experience required.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
• Minimum experience with light construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and picks up rental equipment using a Class 8 truck with loads up to 70,000 lbs.
• Loads/unloads equipment onto trailer following safety requirements.
• Determines most efficient route based on load weight and conditions.
• Maintains electronic Driver’s Logbook per DOT regulations.
• Operates equipment brands including CAT, Genie, JLG, GME, and more.
• Follows DOT rules for oversize loads and permits; maintains CDL.
