Job summary

TAL Building Centers in Montana seeks a dedicated delivery driver to transport building materials safely to customers and job sites. You will operate cargo trucks, conduct pre-trip inspections, and maintain accurate delivery logs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• CDL class A or B with air brake endorsement and valid license.
• Must be qualified to drive truck and trailer, tractor and trailer or crane operator.
• 5 years’ experience preferred.
• Must have a current valid medical certification and pass a road test.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and unload materials to customers.
• Operate various types of equipment and vehicles safely.
• Verify load against shipping papers.
• Maintain trip logs and vehicle inspections.
• Assist in keeping the yard clean and orderly.
• Develop understanding of basic products and commodities.
• Maintain communication with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
