Job summary

Facility Services Management Inc. is seeking a Garbage Truck Driver to support Fort Belvoir’s Solid Waste Management program.

You will operate heavy refuse‑collection vehicles to collect, transport, and dispose of solid waste and recyclables across the installation, ensuring environmental compliance and sanitation. The role requires a CDL Class B, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferred), a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred.
• Clean driving record; ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous tasks.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must pass company drug screen and background check; valid license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy refuse-collection vehicles to collect, transport, and dispose of solid waste and recyclables across Fort Belvoir.
