Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a driver to safely operate a commercial vehicle and provide prompt garbage and recycling collection on assigned routes across neighborhoods and alleys. You will perform pre/post-operation checks, comply with DOT regulations, and work with dispatchers to ensure timely service.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Training and development and a drug-free workplace are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Pre/post-operation checks of a commercial vehicle per FCC regulations.
• Operate vehicle on routes including roads, neighborhoods and alleys.
• Must meet DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle for trash and recycling collection.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and complete required reports.
• Drive on assigned routes and coordinate with dispatchers to service clients promptly.
• Maintain productivity standards and comply with safety regulations.
