Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a CDL driver in North Little Rock, AR to operate frontload/ancillary waste collection vehicles on designated routes. You will conduct safety checks, interact with customers, and ensure compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required (or preferred).
• CDL license is required to operate the truck.
• Strong communication and safety-focused mindset essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontload or ancillary waste collection vehicles on designated routes.
• Open container enclosures and position cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and notify supervisor of issues.
• Clean spilled debris to keep client sites safe and tidy.
• Maintain and submit DOT logbook and productivity sheets.
• Maneuver truck in tight spaces using mirrors and back-up steps.
• Use a map and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
