Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking Front-End Drivers in Wisconsin to operate front-end trucks delivering waste and recyclables along multiple routes. You will collect and transfer loads to appropriate facilities, while maintaining logs and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Able to safely drive and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontload or ancillary equipment on designated routes to collect waste and take to facilities.
• Open can enclosures; roll 3-4 yard cans into dumping position as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain clean sites; pick up spilled debris around truck and containers.
• Log daily route/productivity and post-trip vehicle condition reports.
• Maneuver truck in/out of tight spaces using mirrors.
• Use maps and GPS to locate service addresses.
• Follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Monitor for debris and listen for debris during dumping.
• Follow all safety policies and company rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
