Job summary

Waste Pro has immediate openings for energetic CDL drivers to operate front-load refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes. You will perform pre-trip checks, load containers, and deliver courteous service to commercial customers.

Training and safety are emphasized as you maintain logs and vehicle cleanliness. Eligible drivers can qualify for the company’s $10,000 driver award, earned every three years upon meeting criteria.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and practices; understanding of Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Speak/read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial businesses by collecting Front Load Containers and dumping into the truck.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment.
• Complete route/productivity sheets, mileage, fuel usage, and logs.
• Maintain a clean truck and wash exterior weekly.
• Provide courteous customer service and report issues to dispatch or supervisors.
