Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a dedicated Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services in the Georgia area. The role emphasizes vehicle safety checks, on-route service, and strict adherence to all regulations to ensure reliable customer support.

You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections, load and unload waste, and maintain accurate reports while interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Experience operating a heavy collection truck preferred.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and service customers on schedule.
• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspections and report any safety issues.
• Load refuse using the packer and dispose at designated facilities following safety policies.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to maintain service quality.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to company safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
