Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and deliver prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. The role requires compliance with safety standards, daily vehicle inspections, and accurate reporting of vehicle conditions.

The driver will follow route sheets, operate the truck controls per safety policies, interact with customers, and complete required reports to ensure efficient service on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated route and service each customer.
• Load refuse and operate compactor per policy and dispose of material at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers on a daily basis.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports (VCRs).
