Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a qualified CDL driver to operate frontload and ancillary equipment along designated routes. You will collect solid waste, open enclosures, and ensure proper dumping while maintaining safety and customer service on the road.

The role requires a valid CDL or CDL school training, with at least one year of driving experience. Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and unload at post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and position cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports.
