Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks servicing multiple commercial and multi-family routes. You will collect waste and recyclables, transfer loads to appropriate facilities, and maintain safety and compliance along busy routes throughout the day.

The role requires a valid CDL and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate. Strong attention to safety and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks along designated routes to collect waste or recyclables.
• Open container enclosures/gates to access cans and dump into dumpsters.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and notify supervision of any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness around the truck and surroundings at customer sites.
• Maintain and submit logbooks and route/productivity sheets as required.
