Job summary

GFL Environmental, Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver in Michigan to operate front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes, transporting waste and recyclables to proper facilities.

You will service multiple customers daily and ensure accurate reporting and safe operation. Key responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, customer interactions, route navigation using maps and GPS, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum of one year commercial truck driving experience OR CDL school certificate.
• Must be able to meet safety sensitive criteria and safely operate the truck and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect waste and recyclables.
• Open container enclosures and position cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and respond to requests or issues.
• Maintain cleanliness around truck and site; ensure safety and compliance with policies.
