Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Milford, OH is seeking Front Load Drivers to service commercial routes and haul waste/recycling. You will operate trucks safely on assigned routes and maintain route sheets.

Required: valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and ability to read maps/navigation systems. Strong communication with customers is essential; overtime, nights, and weekends may be required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain before hire.
• Ability to read/understand maps or navigation systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers.
• No more than 3 moving violations in last 2 years; no DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to provide trash or recycling removal on assigned routes.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck cab.
• Visually inspect front load containers for safe dumping procedures.
• Clean up areas around containers during service.
• Open and secure service gates while servicing customers.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
