Atlas Disposal Industries is seeking Front Load Drivers to safely operate heavy-duty trucks and manage waste pickup routes in Sacramento, CA. The role requires a current CDL with airbrake endorsement and the ability to pass DOT screenings, with potential Saturday shifts and long early-morning hours.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an airbrake endorsement.
• 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and other physical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Operates vehicle following safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre-and post-trip inspections and documents checks.
• Uses computerized tablet to track route progress and landfill data.
• Reports any unsafe situations to Supervisor or Dispatch.
• Attends training and works with Dispatch to improve route efficiency.
• Notifies of incidents, service interruptions, or hazards.
• Completes end-of-day documentation and checks out.
