Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is hiring for the position of truck driver responsible for safe trash and recycling collection in Dayton, Ohio. The role requires operating trucks, conducting inspections, and maintaining cleanliness.

Preferred candidates will have a Class B CDL, with strong driving skills and the ability to handle outdoor conditions. Successful applicants must be at least 19 years old and qualified to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of CDL truck driving experience preferred.
• Front Load truck driving experience preferred.
• Waste industry experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks safely to provide trash or recycling removal services.
• Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete DVIR logs.
• Service approximately 100 - 150 commercial customers per day.

Skills

Ability to read and understand a map and/or navigation system

Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Education
