Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Front-End Driver to operate front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes in Hartland, CA. You will remove and transport waste or recyclables, service multiple customers daily, and ensure proper transfer to disposal or recycling facilities.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of truck driving experience (or CDL school), and strict adherence to safety procedures. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• CDL is required with a valid license.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end trucks along designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables.
• Open container enclosures and move cans for dumping.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact with customers politely and address questions or requests.
• Maintain logs, route/productivity sheets, and post-trip inspections as required by law.
• Follow safety standards and company policies while operating the vehicle.
