Job summary

Capital Waste Services is seeking a safety-conscious and dependable Front-End Driver to service commercial dumpsters on an assigned route using a Front-End Loader (FEL) truck. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining DOT and company safety standards.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently, managing time effectively, and representing Capital Waste Services in a professional manner with customers and the communities served.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Minimum age 21.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening, background check, and physical examination.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Front-End equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Front-End Loader (FEL) truck to collect and transport commercial waste.
• Complete assigned routes efficiently and according to schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Ensure proper servicing of commercial containers while minimizing property damage.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Interact professionally with customers and address service-related concerns.
• Use route management technology and onboard systems as required.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
• Report accidents, incidents, equipment failures, and safety hazards immediately.
• Complete route documentation, inspection reports, and other required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assist with training new drivers when assigned.
