Job summary

Capital Waste Services is seeking a safety-minded Front-End Driver to service commercial waste on an assigned route using a Front-End Loader (FEL). You will perform inspections, adhere to DOT regulations, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining professional conduct on the route.

Ideal candidates bring a CDL (Class A or B), a strong safety record, and at least 3 years of Front-End experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL; driving record must meet insurability requirements.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening, background check, and physical exam.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles in varying weather and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Front-End Loader (FEL) truck to collect and transport commercial waste.
• Complete assigned routes efficiently and per schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance concerns.
• Ensure proper servicing of containers with minimal property damage.
• Maintain DOT, company policies, and safety compliance.
• Interact professionally with customers and address service concerns.
• Use route management tech and onboard systems as required.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
• Report accidents, incidents, and safety hazards promptly.
• Complete route paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assist with training new drivers as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.
