Job summary

Amwaste is seeking a Commercial Driver to safely operate a front-end load (FEL) truck on a designated route and provide courteous waste removal services. Applicants must complete daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Class B CDL is required.
• Customer service and time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate the FEL truck along a designated route to servicing customers.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others daily.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as needed.
• Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste.
• Clean area around any waste spills, following safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime and clean the packer blade.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and DVIR reports.
• Meet productivity standards to service customers efficiently.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.
