Job summary

Capital Waste Services is seeking a safety‑minded Front-End Driver to service commercial dumpsters on assigned routes using a Front-End Loader (FEL). You will provide excellent customer service while complying with all DOT and company safety rules, operating independently and professionally with customers and communities.

The role requires a valid CDL (A/B), a clean driving record, and a minimum of 3 years of Front-End experience. Overtime and early starts are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurability requirements.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening, background check, and physical exam.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• Minimum of 3 years of Front-End experience.
• Preferred: experience in front end, commercial waste, sanitation, or heavy equipment.
• Preferred: experience driving automated commercial vehicles or heavy trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Front-End Loader (FEL) truck to collect and transport commercial waste.
• Complete routes efficiently and according to schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Ensure proper servicing of containers while minimizing property damage.
• Maintain DOT compliance and safety procedures.
• Interact professionally with customers and address service concerns.
• Use route management technology and onboard systems as required.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good condition.
• Report accidents and equipment failures promptly.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assist with training new drivers when assigned.
