Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Foreperson with CDL to lead daily field operations, coordinating with management and enforcing safety protocols on crew sites. You will train personnel, manage schedules, supervise training, and ensure DOT maintenance compliance while delivering quality service to customers.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in New York. The role requires the CDL, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work in varying weather, heights, and hazardous

Qualifications

• Understanding of drawings and symbols for lines, voltages, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Weight capacity considerations and heights awareness.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work after orders from a supervisor.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on job units.
• Enforces safety practices per policies and OSHA standards.
• Discusses access, power interruptions, and responsibilities with customers.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains crew records, timesheets, and reports.
• Controls crew costs and optimal use of resources.
• Furnishes reports on completed orders and incidents as needed.
• Cooperates with customers, police, and fire departments as required.
