Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Hatchery Egg Driver in Athens, GA to safely transport eggs from hatcheries, operate and maintain equipment, and ensure timely deliveries while upholding safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with hatchery staff and production teams, follow schedules, and adhere to biosecurity and safety policies. A CDL and 12 months of tractor/trailer experience are required, with benefits after onboarding.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
• Drug/alcohol test result in the past 5 years may disqualify.
• Ability to drive a truck safely and follow directions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report issues.
• Maintain product quality and truck cleanliness.
• Communicate with associates, maintenance, growers, and supervisors.
• Place loads as directed and follow housekeeping schedule.
• Foster teamwork and positive work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
