Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Egg Driver to safely transport eggs from hatcheries, ensure on-time delivery, and follow safety and quality standards. You will operate commercial trucks, perform inspections, and coordinate with hatchery and farm staff to ensure accurate deliveries and proper documentation.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with recent tractor/trailer experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
• If the driver has a positive test for drugs or alcohol in the previous 5 years, they are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections following company guidelines and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Operate trucks to maintain product quality and integrity.
• Communicate effectively with associates, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors.
• Maintain equipment and keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Place each load as directed.
• Follow housekeeping schedule with proper PPE.
• Foster a positive work environment through cooperative communication and teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
