Job summary

Pilgrim's in Texas is seeking a CDL driver to transport commercial goods within our hatchery network. You will operate heavy trucks safely, perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload chicks and eggs, and ensure ventilation systems function properly.

This role requires a Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. You will follow safety policies, maintain schedules with growers, and may drive for other hatcheries as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Experience driving trucks and handling loading/unloading.
• Comfort with driving in poultry processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and deliver as instructed.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and loading/unloading of chicks.
• Load and unload eggs; ensure fans and ventilation work.
• Keep consistent schedules with growers; pick up eggs twice a week.
• Wash and disinfect trucks daily; report issues.
• Follow safety, quality, and company policies.
• Drive for other hatcheries or facilities as needed.
