Job summary

Native Sun Construction in Monument, CO seeks an experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to support civil and earthwork projects along the Front Range. The role combines hauling with on-site heavy equipment operation, requiring a safety-conscious approach and teamwork to deliver quality results.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, operating excavators and loaders, and following supervisor plans to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of combined dump truck driving and heavy equipment operation experience.
• OSHA certified (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy machinery (excavator, loader, dozer, etc.).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A or B dump truck to haul aggregate, dirt, asphalt, and other materials to and from job sites.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators/track hoes, loaders, dozers, and skid steers as needed.
• Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors to execute projects efficiently and safely.
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment.
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
• Other duties as needed to get the job done well.
