Job summary

Sunmount Paving Company is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to support construction projects. The role requires a valid CDL A, familiarity with DOT regulations, and prior dump truck experience.

You will transport materials, perform safety checks, and help keep equipment in top condition. Applicants should be able to understand directions, communicate with site supervisors, and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Able to understand work directions and communicate with supervisors.
• 3–5 years of dump truck or related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump truck to transport materials to/from construction sites.
• Perform daily safety checks of fluids and inspect vehicle before operation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot vehicle to stay in safe working order.
• Report repairs to supervisor; ensure equipment safety and reliability.
• Drive tri-axle truck and trailer when required.
• Identify and report near-miss safety issues and unsafe acts.
