Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of combined dump truck driving and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to operate multiple types of heavy machinery.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A or B dump truck to haul materials.
• Operate excavators/track hoes, loaders, dozers, and skid steers as needed.
• Follow site plans and supervisor instructions to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
• Other duties as needed to get the job done.

CDL Dump Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver with heavy equipment operation skills to support civil, utility, and earthwork projects in the Grand Junction area. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable hauling material behind the wheel of a dump truck and running heavy machinery on site, is safety-conscious, and ready to contribute to our legacy of quality work.

$25-$36 an hour starting pay, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class A or B dump truck to haul aggregate, dirt, asphalt, and other materials to and from job sites
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators/track hoes, loaders, dozers, and skid steers as needed
• Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors to execute projects efficiently and safely
• Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive and safe work environment
• Other duties as needed to get the job done well.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record
• 2+ years of combined dump truck driving and heavy equipment operation experience
• OSHA certified (preferred)
• Strong Knowledge of safety practices and procedures
• Experience operating multiple types of heavy machinery (excavator, loader, dozer, etc.)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
