Job summary

The role is diverse, with duties ranging from heavy equipment operation to basic maintenance and safety tasks, and compensation will be evaluated at hire based on project, location and experience.

Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, performing inspections, participating in JSA meetings, and ensuring safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required.
• Must come to work promptly, regularly and on time.
• Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
• Must be able to work with tools and equipment.
• Willing to work with others and maintain a positive attitude.
• Capable of communicating ideas and problems clearly.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment safely.
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment.
• Read and comprehend project plans and documents.
• Participate in daily job safety analyses (JSA) meetings.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
• Assist crews when other tasks are primary.
• Lead or mentor operators and manage equipment with safety.
